An exhibition to be named “Through the sand” was opened by German artist Uta Shmit on August 5 at the art gallery of the Union of Mongolian Artist (UMA).

It is fourth exhibition, was opened in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. There are over 100 works of art about Buddhism and also various paintings, made by artist Uta Shmit with her children, in the exposition.

Artist Uta Shmit’s first exhibition was held in 1984 and previously, has organized so many exhibits in Austria, Swede, Slovenia, Mongolia, French and Switzerland.

The exhibition entitled “Through the sand” will last until August 12, 2010.
