Jewel Garden – Documentary about preserving Tibetan Art

Jewel Garden is a National Institute of Design (Ahmedabad) Diploma Film, made in and about Norbulingka Institute Dharamsala, Himachal Pradesh, India. It sheds lights about the various arts and crafts practiced and taught in the institute, including Thangka Painting, Metal Statue making, Thangka Applique, and many more. The film also explains the unique functioning of the institute which is itself an exemplary model inspired by Buddhist beliefs.
